Challenge
Conversations about puberty and menstruation can be seen as a daunting and stigmatised subject. Kotex had a mission to educate girls and boys around period health to communicate menstruating is a natural part of life that should be discussed openly, not hidden.
Gameplay
Our game is comprised of four environments on the planet, each hosting a unique game mechanic and topic. The experience covers: Puberty and Signs of Getting a Period, How the Uterus Functions, Phases of the Menstrual Cycle, and Period Products & Period Preparedness. Playing Period Planet is a voyage across a new world to fight stigma, collect knowledge, and bright life back to a planet turned lifeless due to ignorance.
