Background
Launching in Oct 2020, this new global campaign for Huawei’s latest smartphone started life as a pitch win way back in February. The campaign idea of ‘Leap Further Ahead’ is a reflection of the phone’s amazing performance, plus what it can bring the user.
It’s a testament to the patience, commitment and hard work of the team in Hong Kong and China that we were able to deliver 12 pieces of film, plus other campaign assets such as product key visual outdoor, ins-store, digital. All these been produced with all the restraints put on production by Covid.
Huawei launched the Mate40 series in Oct 2020. With this year being the year of 5G and tech convergence getting more real and with iPhone 12 launching similar time, Mate needs to launch its comms materials with more innovative story telling, more compelling message & more engaging stories in introducing Mate40 series to the world, particularly China.
